That was not just hot. That was stupid hot. A war of attrition. While it may have been my fastest CMM ever, it was 30 minutes off goal. I still beat every one of my marks tho, so that is worth something. I thought about a big DNF at mile 14 as my core body temp must have risen over the boiling point of water, but then just never made the decision and must have somehow cooled myself off enough to pick up a few of the pieces. That beer at the Hasher's tent was good. Candice (yeah yeah, and Jeff too) is a rock star for joining me on the last miles!
