Fast Break 5k and mini mile. Lots to say about this! Ran the 5k course to make sure it was legit. Put on a moon pie costume and race the field. Finished behind Grady with a 28:48 :) He was happy he beat Dad and the Moon Pie. I hope everyone had a good time.
Later in the evening, the top finishers from the 5k were invited back to race a mile on the Crit course of the Villlage Volkswagon River Gorge Omnium bike race. Raced as the moon pie again against the fast guys with a min head start. around 5:50 for the mile in a full moon pie get up. Big fun for me and again I hope folks enjoyed themselves.
