This was a very tough run. I am definitely pushing too hard on my tempo runs. I think I need to dial it back a bit as I think I'm pretty much going all out. I've obviously lost some fitness and I'm trying to quickly make it up but I just need to be patient and consistent and not get burned out. I was trying for 7:29 for the middle 4 miles and ended up with about 7:35 but it was almost all out. I probably should be doing 7:40 and definitely not starting so fast. The problem is that I'm using my 22:00 5k time which I probably couldn't do right now. I changed my plan for now with my latest 10k time and will leave it there until I improve.
