Notes
After a long night, and after supporting Andy on his run that transitioned from night to day, it was time for my 3rd set of 2 legs. I slept for a total of probably 15 minutes, but I think that was actually better than nothing at all. I was tired, but feeling alright surprisingly. The temperature was the best for this run. Actually a little cold at the start. Below 60! I ran off fairly quick right from the start and just kept it going. I was feeling really good and figured this is my shortest section. I really didn't feel like I was pushing too hard and though my legs were a little tight, I felt pretty good. I even had a couple sub 8s in there during the more down hill parts. I came in to the hand off to Pete pretty fast and with a lot of energy. So much that when I went to slap the bracelet on to Pete's arm, it flew off behind him! I had to run to retrieve it and try again more carefully! Glad Frank caught that exchange in a few photos.
