Notes

Well, lunchtime Dimitri was a moron and had a giant burrito with a bunch of chips knowing full well I was planning on running this afternoon. I really can't tell you what I was thinking, but my run, as expected, sucked. The whole freaking time I was cursing myself. Even keeping it at an easy pace in the beginning didn't even help. I guess I won't be filling up on burritos before any big races coming up. Maybe I should try fettuccine Alfredo. We keep joking about it because it's so ridiculous, well this whole burrito thing was pretty damn dumb. Oh well, I got through it.

Oh and maybe there was positive note from it all. I was so focused on my stomach, I didn't even think about my leg too much which was feeling pretty much at 100%. So that's good. Skipping the tempo today was the right move.

Mmmmmm... Burritos before a run. Good choice! Think of it as training for your stomach. Keep doing this a few times per week, and you'll be able to eat anything before a run and your cast iron stomach won't even make a peep :) I remember when I first started running longer distances, I couldn't drink at all during my runs without getting severe cramps. It took a while, but I finally got over it.
