Notes
A long slow 8.6 mile run with my friend Luke starting at 5:30 this morning. Luke is training for the Pinhoti 100 miler which is less than 2 weeks away now and I will be pacing him a little bit.
These 8.6 miles marked the longest distance I have run since coming back from my injury. They felt good, although the pace was a bit slower than either of us would have wanted them to be. The primary reason for the slow pace was because we were running on a wide, but unfamiliar trail and neither of us thought to bring a headlamp. The trail was hard to see most of the time we were there given the starting time.
