So anyway, today I went sort of easy because my hip was tight and sore, so I started out with heat for 10 minutes, then stretching (ouch), then lower body stuff (leg lifts with weights, balancing, squats, lunges, etc), then upper body (arm rows, bench press, pushups), then core (exercise ball crunches, with resistance). Then I ended with ice and stim to both hips, and more stretching.

Holy crap. And I just read an article in the Washington Post about girls and running XC. Ummm...wow. Just wow. That's some tough stuff to bring out about the sport. But unfortunately it is true. Horribly, horribly, horribly true.

Damn. And I know it all too much.
