Notes
After running long yesterday, my goal for this race was simple...go out at 5:30 pace for the first mile and adjust the pace as necessary based on how the legs feel
*Madison and Kyle took it out from the gun and I immediately knew 3rd was the best I was going to do unless one of them DNF'd
*ran with some guy for the first mile then was on my own the rest of the race
*pushed the Rt. 108 hill but with the headwind, it was a bitch
*didn't really ever come close to redlining it which was awesome since it proves the strength and endurance is there
Splits: 5:27, 11:00 (2+3), 5:34, 5:20, 5:09, 1:00
Love this weather and looking forward to crushing it at Pike's Peek next Sunday!!!
