Easy run for the first time in almost two weeks due to getting a chest cold after traveling to Atlanta last week. First mile was rough. I thought I wouldn't last 3 miles - or that I'd eventually have to walk. All of a sudden, somewhere in the 2nd mile I got in a groove and kept going. Surprisingly, I looked at my Garmin towards the end and saw I had run 3.1 miles and it was still under 30 minutes...WOW - I totally thought I'd be running an 11:30/mile pace today - not 9:30/mile! I definitely still need to take it easy since I was feeling a little tightness in my lungs, but it's good to get back to running again.
