Independence Day Firecracker 10K in Hot Springs. Great morning for a race: cloudy, cool (for the Fourth of July) and calm. Enjoyable race; an out-and-back that is uphill on the way out and downhill on the way back in. So on the way home I shortened my walk breaks to 0:30 and didn't take any for the last mile, which was a 9:46 pace. PR by a handful of seconds, replacing last year's Wellspring run.
