Notes
This is why we do long runs. They remind of us what to expect in the marathon.
First 18 went well. Next 3 were labored. I was toast for the last mile...only then did I reduce the ratio to 1/1.
Got home, took a cool bath and then the cramps set in. Worst I've ever had...both calves were very, very painful. Some extended into both feet. Odd, in that I took 4 salt tabs as I ran and ate 4 bananas as well and was reasonably well hydrated.
I did something, though. I noted on the scales when I got back that after that eating and drinking, I was a full four pounds lighter after my shower than when I started this morning.
Gotta figure this one out.
