Had light dinner about two hours before race. Forgot heart monitor, so no heart data. Horrible race! Hot, humid and something popped in my left achillies/calf. Started out at 7:30 pace for first mile and steadily went down from there to 8:30 pace. Achillies was starting to hurt with about two mile left and kept getting worse. When almost to finish line, I heard something pop in my lower calf and I came up limping in pain. Had to walk across finish line. Lost one place by having to walk. Poured some cold water over leg//foot when I got done (no ice available). Iced it for two 15 min. periods when I got home. Next morning it hurt enough to cause limp while walking, but not as bad as I thought it might be. Will be going to doctor on Friday.
