Ran the music city half marathon in Brian's spot due to his knee issues. Didn't expect a PR since I didn't know i was running until about 14 hours until start time (while i was at the flying saucer drinking beer). Kinda a boring run just thru a greenway with brush on both sides. No mile markers at the beginning or end (out and back) and thought the aid stations were kinda in bad locations. Ended up taking a gel pack around mlie 10.5. Almost threw it up at the finish line though. I was supposed to do 3 more miles at the end but since i was feeling pretty sick i just skipped that. Took the same approach as the middle half where i ran kinda easy until the split and then pushed it coming back.
Cold at the start but confortable at the finish. Pretty good weather to run in really.
