Comment: "MILE 1: 7:10MILE 2 = Heartbreak Hill - I intentionally slowed it down so I did not burn out my legs on this steep, mile+ long hill: 7:50MILE 3: 7:20. Hit the 5K just before 23 minutes.MILE 4: Had to stop 2 times for bad side stitch. First time I only stopped for 15 seconds and it did not do the trick. Stopped at water stop for about 45 seconds and then picked it up. Stitch was gone by mile 5 - YAY! MILE 5: Dug deep to bring it home. MILE 6: Full throttle. Pain. RESULTS: Ended up with PR in 10K by 50 seconds even though I had to stop! Got 7th woman overall and 2nd in my AG! Next time I am hoping for a 45:30!"
