And I'm back! Modified marathon strategy of running each mile as follows: 0.9 at 10-10:30 pace, 0.1 fast walk. Worked well - legs tired towards the end but I pushed through to average 10:30. Will employ the same strategy for 18 and 20 milers over the next week and a half, and modify the training plan.
