Gate to Gate run at Eglin
Great Day! Good Run! I very much enjoyed myself this morning. As usual, I ran too hard, but I surprised myself by keeping a 10:25 pace through the first two miles. Was still not doing bad, but the 'hill' really slowed me down. I was able to run the entire route, but I almost shifted down to a walk on the hill. I didn't though, and proud of sticking it through. Saw the Army Col I met on the Navarre FunFest run. Also several people from the past. At first, I thought I would only do the Gate to Gate once, this being the year. But after the run started, that is when the fun began for me. I will be back next year - Lord willing.
