Ran the Open at LC. Got there a little late because we had a game but for whatever reason I have run well in these sort of short warm-up conditions before. To my thankful surprise there were two LC alumni runners who went out in exactly 5:00 pace so for the first 8 and half laps I got to tuck in. Opposite of Linfield. We went through the 2-mile in just over 10:00 and with 4 laps to go I went around the leader and ran what I think were successive 72s or 73s to open up a gap. It hurt though and the last two laps were more like 74. Probably about a 4:55 last 4 laps as I think we went through 5 laps to go at about 10:36 or so.
