Went in as the #6 seed in this race. Based on that and the windy conditions, I thought there might be a little pack to sit in early. Turns out the kid from Idaho had a pacer going out at 70s. I knew there was only one guy in the race that had any business going with the pacer, but sure enough, about 12 people decided to go. So I sat back about 15th through 800 meters running steady 72-73. I moved up to 3rd place by the Mile running evenly as everyone fell the fuck off. Well, that made the rest of the race a time trial. Cornish was behind me for a bit but he did not have it to help tonight despite Blackmore recommending he take a lap and we work together. No biggie, he didn't have it tonight and he probably knew it so he had to sit. Last mile was a blur as I tried to hold on. I definitely think it was a decent result considering how the race played out and the windy conditions. J Marcus and Tom were good help commenting positively each lap. Kept me going.
