Coming off of a week off that included a back tweek and locked hips a week ago yesterday and a week of severe pain and immobility. A chiropractor adjustment Monday helped correct the problem, but I'm still quite stiff and trying to work out some swelling in the hips. So this first run back was still a bit painful and slow-feeling. However, I was surprised by the time and apparently my hard work during the last two previous runs has carried over and I still appear to be in striking distance of my 7-minute pace half marathon if I don't have any other setbacks.
