Did intervals of 3x1600m with about 90% effort throughout. There was a pretty stiff 15 mph north wind so I chose to do the first and third intervals with a crosswind and the second with a tailwind. Furman had me shooting for a 5:54 pace so I knew I had to go out hard. I surprisingly nailed the first leg with 2 seconds to spare at 5:52. With a couple of minutes of rest, I missed the second leg by 5 seconds with a 5:59 pace. I was pretty tired by then and missed the third by over 40 seconds with a time some where around 6:35. Ouch, these were painful. Curse you Furman.
