Tula and I set out with plans to go for about 10 miles in this first post marathon outing nearly a week after the event. My muscle soreness was gone after about four days and the knee soreness went away after five days. But I realized after the quad and calf soreness set in and I basically hit a wall after about mile six, that I have not yet fully recovered. Still an enjoyable outing to some of my favorite Denver parks and it was so nice to walk when I felt like it over the last few miles.
