I read somewhere in the internet that running shorter and faster would bother IT band less as long as I didn't turn in the unfavorable direction.
This was the 5-4 portion. The 5 portion actually felt better, but the 4 portion was much much worse. I should have aborted it.
Also, it was sore when I woke up this morning after the run, which it hadn't done before. =/
Probably just stretch and ice today (1-1) and not actually try to run it again.
