I tried to run as even as possible trying to go for 17:15. The plan was at 600 m left i was just going to go for it. I felt great after the first 2 miles, but then I started to side stich a little. My reaction to that was along the line of, "Ok, I'm not doing that today," and I more or less got through it, but I didn't realize how much i had faded after I stopped looking at the clock. I had expected to be coming in at around 17:20 and I was surprised when I saw 17:30.

Nevertheless, its a big PR, shattering all my high school times. I think, I'm going to ask about what I should do with mileage. I've felt like I've been improving a lot on 51-53 miles, so I've felt no need to hike the mileage, but its been a couple weeks.
