A nice run today to remember those lost in the 911 tragedies. I started out with the thought of running 5 or 7 miles, but as I found myself at the 9:00 pace I thought "hey, let's run 9.11 miles". As I got closer to the end I noticed I would be close to 1:19. The 1:19 was simple, I was going to be there, but the 11 seconds at the end was pretty tough and I had to pick it up the last 2 blocks a little more than just coasting. Worked, but it was still an easy going, comfortable run.
Didn't think I'd be as energetic this morning after attending the ISU/IA game and then going to my daughter's and putting together a table, chairs, desk, and book shelves. Got home at midnight.
Most miles between 8:45 and 9:00 pace. No money, but my tickets were free yesterday... + $180 today.
