Ran early with David Lang and Dorothy Jacobi. Marathon runners who are also band directors. We are here at the IBA convention in DSM. Rain and a slower pace kept us closer to the 10:00 pace, but I was just glad to run this morning and have someone to run with.
David is training to be a pacer for Dorothy's husband who's running a 100miler in Wisconsin on June 5. Dorothy and David are training for a 50 miler in the fall. Interesting stories about their 20 and 30 mile training runs.
I prefer to go faster w/ shorter races.
