Notes
Ran like I felt which was a little faster than I had planned. My plan was to run 10miles "how I felt". When you have shorts and a sweatshirt on, it's hard not to feel like running a little faster than "easy". Reality seemed to kick in when I turned around and faced a strong wind on the way back.
No one else on the trail and no traffic or $. I did see a huge groundhog, though. Ran faster than I did.

So I was sub-8 on the way out and looks like around 8:25 on the way back. Felt strong and had that good rhythmic feel to my pace. Could have gone faster, but with the race next weekend in Ottumwa, I felt this was not a time to push too much.
