Notes
81% humidity; little rainshower about 5:00 into run; love running in the rain!
Could tell that my pace/time was off; breathing just did not seem right.
Started reading book, "Total Heart Rate Training". I think (I really BELIEVE) I need to adjust HRM.
It turns out that using max heart rate of 165 (220-age) as basis for establishing range is just WAY OFF!
Book notes that this formula is **wrong** about 50% of the time!
I've probably been WAY under heart rate for last month; should be using LACTATE THRESHOLD measurement.
Oh well -- when I get back from Belize, I'll figure out a way to measure this (professionally?) and restart Low HR Training with more accurate range - probably (at least) 10-15 points higher in range.
