FINALLY ... the "lite bulb" went off vis-a-vis running/breathing/stride.
Reading a basic half-marathon book last night, talked about **quicker number of steps** per minute.
Tried that, matching quicker steps (but slowly, if that makes sense) with very even breathing in and out = at first 2 in/2 out; then 3/3; 5/5. Really seemed to make a difference in the way I felt/ran - even if pace not really reflecting that. Did not hurt; felt like I had a good workout; just felt like I was "running".
It's kind of like learning to run 101 - pretty good, since no one has ever taught me how to run!
