There were two firsts for me today. I'd never run the CDR hill loop or the carriage trail, but I was able to do them both this morning! The traffic has always been a concern for doing the CDR hill loop previously, and I just never got to the carriage trail. Early on this Saturday morning the traffic was light, the weather was cool, so I decided to go for it! The hill wasn't as bad as I thought it might be, so I'm glad I put that psychological barrier behind me for my CDR training. The historic carriage trail was just beautiful, especially getting to run past the gates of Sunrise at the top. Avg temp was 61 degrees, humidity 84%. Avg HR - 70% of max. Once I got back home, I did my usual routine of chocolate milk, yoga stretching, 125 ab crunches with the fitness ball, 25 clam shells on each side, pigeon pose, and 15 military push-ups.
