Started out the first two miles at 8:30s, ran the next 6+ with my running group at around 8:45s I think and then finished up the last two miles at around 7:40s.
My shin was a little tight again at the start but loosened up after a mile or so. On the last two miles my legs felt kind of heavy - especially towards the end because there is a half mile section going back to the gym that is uphill. I held on, but my quads hurt a little afterwards (and sitting at my desk all day is not going to help that).
