Frostbite 5k in Hendersonville with Parker. We tied for fourth overall. He pulled ahead for a bit around 1.5 miles in, but I caught him and passed. He surged at the end and we finished neck and neck. Great fun!
New PR for Parker.
We wanted to go under 19:00 as a benchmark before marathon training with a sub-3:00 marathon goal.
We'd also hoped to set a new 5k PR for me (around 18:24) and maybe crack 18:00, but the course was a little hilly and we didn't quite have that.
