Notes

Did a pre-work bike ride. Nothing special to note here aside from the fact that some of the stats are off. I forgot to press LAP after the first mile, so that 7:27 is really for two miles. Plus the last interval appears to be a combo of my half mile and walking back into the house. Nothing major.

Probably the biggest takeaway from all of this is that Death From Above/System of a Down and noisy bands like that clearly get my HR going more than today's 'throwback' mix of old STP and Zeppelin.

Nice work. It's funny you should mention the influence of the music on your HR. I found the same thing. I got into listening to Death From Above a while ago when doing intervals, and I found it to be a good motivator, but then I didn't know if I was choosing the music based on my intensity, or choosing my intensity based on the music :)
