Notes

rpe7-7+. Easy run! The first mile was faster than 8:07. I did not have my GPS set for mile splits. So first mile was sub 8. Again, I set a good pace and stuck it. The last couple of long runs I have set and maintained a very consistant pace and effort. Again, my pace looks so consistant that it looks like I was on a treadmill. Again, I no longer use my HR alert to inform me that my HR has spiked. Perhaps it is the cooler temps, but I do a good job of not spiking above 145HR. And when I do spike above 145, without even being alerted with some obnoxious beeping of my watch, I am able to decrease the HR based on rpe. The above data(as well as previous data) does not lie. Even when I began climbing back the final ~1.5 miles and my pace decreased bc of the hills my HR did not spike. So I have learned and continue to learn how to run with rpe....Good run. Felt good. Felt easy.
