rpe7-8+ Stretched and worked abs. Began run feeling as I always do! Just ok! A little tight and heavy. Always run slower first mile just to warm things up. Stopped and stretched. 2nd mile is usually the fastest mile. You can check previous data and almost always will my 2nd mile be the fastest. I felt good today. I felt like I should have been and wanted to be running a couple heart beats faster today. Finished with 6x 30 sec strides with 30 secs in between. Ran these fast but controlled. Dd not run all out, but put a hard effort. The strides felt easier today. I felt like I should have been doing longer strides or even a long tempo run today at 85%+ HR. Walked teh last .25 mile or so and Stretched. Good run. BRING IT COACH!
