Long run at Cayce Riverwalk to check out the new portion they just recently opened. Overall pace was slower this week since we started out a little slower. The concrete walkway isn't too forgiving on my knees since they are sore but I wouldn't mind running the new path again. We didn't go all the way to the end but the area is nice, shaded and peaceful. I stuck to my fueling plan and used hum a gels this week. I'm thinking of switching to them instead of Gu because they are less thick and sweet than gu. No stomach or hydration issues. Will continue to monitor daily food intake to be prepared for race week.
