Notes
5 miles with 6 x 1 min fast, 1 min recovery. Warmed up with Steve and Rodney, who I'll be running with on Saturday. Steve and I did the workout, and it felt like I was pushing him a little on the fast sections, but I'm sure that will all be evened out on Saturday. I'm starting to "think" about it a little now, and I have to admit that doing so is not comfortable. I'm sure things will be different once race day is here, but I'm not 100% comfortable with what I'm setting out to do. Weather is not going to be ideal, but I know I need to let it go and deal with whatever I'm given. And if that's 1:30, I take it. If it's faster, I get after it. If it's slower, it's because I went for it and crashed. I'll be okay with whatever, as long as the effort reflects the training I've put toward this race. I feel ready, and yet not ready all at the same time. I suppose that's it...
