Marshfield St. Patrick's Day 5k
Kind of disappointed in this. Was hoping to finally go sub-16. The field was impressive (6 guys under 15:36) and I had company to run with, but it was quite windy, which definitely hurt, though I don't know how much. From the beginning the pace felt like too much of a strain. Don't know if that is a statement on my current fitness level and I really am behind, or if I just don't have the speed for that pace and I'll be fine over marathon distance. Also disappointed as I was hoping to take home some prize money - I didn't realize all of the fast guys would be coming.
