Notes

My first really solid steady state in a good while. I made a mental note to really go slow on the warmup. I hardly ever run a 9+ mile, but I really think it helped. The first mile I tried not to push it since I just launched into it after the first mile. My goal was to get moving, but not focus on pace. I didn't even look at the watch until I split. I was guessing I was somewhere around 7:30 or right below it. My goal on this run was to try to keep as close to 7:00 as possible. The pace really felt great the whole time. Coming back up Belmont I was breathing pretty hard, but I wasn't feeling like I was on the edge and I recovered well once I got to the top. Very happy with this run and this week even though I got lazy and skipped yesterday.
