Been enjoying the fartleks the last couple of weeks. Something about not having the structure but still feeling like I'm getting in a good workout. The speed intervals were completely on feel. I didn't glance at my watch at all during any of them for pace or distance. Some hurt more than others. I tried to get myself to a good threshold and then hold that beyond a comfortable period. I also tried to keep my recovery pace reasonable. There were a few spots I had to drop it a bit, like the Belmont hill. I passed a guy during one of the intervals and he said, "Dude! stop making me look bad!" I gave him the finger...actually I didn't.
