Ladder workout at Rose Park. Intervals were 1600, 800, 400, 800, 1600 w/400 recovery between each interval. Overall I am very pleased with this workout. I was a bit hesitant starting out with a mile. Normally, I would start with the shorter intervals and build up, but this required to me to focus more from the beginning. It was really windy on the track, as it usually is, so every lap had a strong headwind for 200m. That made it interesting. After the second 800, I knew I was going to have to dig for the last mile, but I ended up finishing feeling pretty strong. Coach said he left off the 1200s intentionally. Next time, I might get those added in.
