Notes
Didn't really have a plan for this run. I'm just getting over a bad cold that started on Saturday so I guess I was thinking easy, but even with the heat, I got rolling pretty quickly right away (I think it was the new Kinvaras). In retrospect I should have taken it easier, but it's so hard for me to put on the brakes once I get rolling. I'm calling this a steady-state based on the pace, but effort-wise it was really closer to a progression as it got progressively harder, and after the climbs coming back home I was hurting at the end. Still, considering everything, the heat and getting over this cold, I was really happy with this run. The first 3 miles were smooth and easy. My hill climbing endurance has definitely suffered with my lackluster past couple of months, but I think I can get that back relatively quickly. It's just slow going in this heat. But even in the past 2 weeks I have noticed a pretty major improvement in my runs.
