Hared off to see how fast I could run the first mile (6:49) then pulled back to wait for Jesus, who was saving his legs for a race this weekend. A target 8:30 pace did not come naturally and we both had to keep putting the brakes on as we'd speed up to a good clip. Fun run with great company. Jesus and I got majorly chicked by a dog, and crossed the line in good spirits together.
