Got the length in, but obviously, it wasn't close to goal paces either old (8:11) or new (8:01). Overall pace was 8:33. Stopped a few times, which I'd say was for traffic, but really wasn't. Very lightheaded after, almost fainted once. Just too much on a muggy day, maybe coming off a race. Not sure, just not a great run. But did the miles, and ran reasonably, sort -of hard for some of it. On the other hand, eight miles all well under 9-minute pace wouldn't have been the norm two months ago. So there's something to be said for that.
