Workout was 2 mile warmup, 2 x strides, 2 min tempo, 2 x strides, then 2x5 min 1 min on/off with a 5 min jog between sets. Ran the tempo in the warmup at 5:18 pace on accident so after that I knew I was going to run faster than prescribed. Was shooting for 5:30-5:40 pace and was faster than that the entire workout. Second set was a little bit more into the wind, but my legs were also feeling it quite a bit and I was more aerobically taxed than I would have liked. Still some decent work as I get back into the swing of things.
