Notes
This run was just a bit scary....I went after work (last time I ate was around 2 pm, rice and chicken) and it is now nearing 8 on my run. I start to feel like my feet are really heavy and my head is really light....not a good feeling at all!
I ate a GU 15 minutes before I left because I knew I hadn't eaten in a while and I drank plenty of water also.
Regardless, I think my blood sugar got a little low in the middle of my run, I had to pull off to the side of the pond and stand for a few minutes to make sure I wasn't going to topple over!
I kept going after that, and 5 minutes later I was fine again and I was actually running under a 9 minute pace! I could tell for sure that my body switched over by that point from glucose to fat stores as energy, it was so clear.
Anyways, overall finished on a good note, but definitely got a little hairy in the middle there!
