Another amazing run! These things just keep happening, and I'm loving it! So many parts of Central Park to explore...today Mugsy and I took in Bridle Path (just stumbled across it while running along East Drive) and it is AWESOME! Three-cars wide gravel path, no bikers allowed (which means no angry and snobby bikers whizzing past ringing their stupid little bell and getting mad at me because THEY got too close).
It circles around JO Reservoir and it glorious for running with a dog - it is not pavement, there's plenty of roughage for him to sniff and pee on (without upsetting anyone) and it is wide as hell, so I don't need to worry about tripping anyone with his leash, or crowding up a tight/shared running path with a dog.
Love it, love it, love it.
Will be back - many times I'm sure.
