Great tempo run. Went out after a 12 hour day at work, so I was a little sluggish - - but I think eating dinner at work, even at 7:30 made a HUGE difference in my energy level for the whole evening.

Still only held a 10 minute pace? That's kind of surprising and disappointing, so I must have been going quite slow in the beginning, because I was hauling ass in the end - - I think I was in the 8's and I was feeling good!

SO, I'm going to make it a point to start eating dinner between 6 and 8 - no matter what! I was always thinking that, why eat dinner, it's 7:30 and I'm leaving in 1/2 hour anyways. But realistically, at 7:30, I won't even be home for another hour, and then, after walking the dogs and getting settled and making something to eat, we're looking at a potential dinner time after 9 pm!!! No wonder I've put on weight and just want to pass out when I get home....I NEED TO EAT AT WORK. PERIOD. Pharmacy (especially retail) is not the friendliest profession in this aspect....not good for a runner AT ALL.

Anyways, enough ranting. That is what I found out tonight and that is what I shall make an effort to do from now on - - eat dinner at work, even if it IS after 7!
