Nice run today! It was nice and cool out - I could FEEL the difference 10 degress makes. It's amazing. I can't wait for the Fall, perfect running weather!

So I had runner's knee on my mind and miraculously, today it wasn't so bad. The one thing which I did differently today because I noticed it was that I extended my legs out further in front of my on my stride. I realized that I had been running really sloppily and basically almost keeping my knees flexed throughout each stride. Kind of like a shuffle rather than a full stride. Today, I made sure I took full strides, I visualized each stride being full and extending (but not OVERextending) my legs out in front of me with each new step and oh my gosh - what a difference it made! It took a little more effort (duh) but my knees were LOVING it. I think my poor form was killing my knees (understandably). I don't know how it took me this long to figure it out. Anyways, I'm going to stick with the new form and I'm going to do the runner's knee stretches anyways to help because I still pronate even if I fix my form.

I am really happy I think I figured something out. We'll see how the next few runs go. Long run tomorrow morning...
