Wow I did it. I mentally overcame a long distance. I pushed through some pain and wind. I didn't give up. Back half of each loop was into wind so I felt it more but I didn't let it get to me So happy!!!
On race placement - in the 30-34 age group 2 people finished in the 30 seconds before... it was a really close race to that 5th place finish. I don't feel bad about placing 7th, it was more like a 3 way tie for 5th in my mind, since there are no medals!
