Kept the effort really easy tonight after starting late. It was 87 degrees at UC when i finished. I used the HR monitor to keep the effort in check objectively and took a hydration bottle/pack with Gatorade and decided i would stop every 10 to 15 minutes long enough to drink 5 to 10 oz of fluid and refilled with water at the end of the glass plant loop. The strategy worked really well for 8 miles and 71 minutes tonight. I could have gone for a couple more miles easily. Hip continues to feel really good and the form feels really comfortable right now. Hope everything continues to go well.
